Only 3 were named by two. - ### Perplexity points to platforms Perplexity named nobody in 6 of its 12 answers and sent people to MaistorPlus and Rabotilo, which were cited 9 and 15 times. - ### ChatGPT's favourite is on Google's map Спешни ВиК услуги (Emergency Plumbing Services) was the most named plumber, in 12 answers, all from ChatGPT, and it was first on Google's map for the round-the-clock search. - ### A first name is not enough Perplexity named some plumbers by first name only, "Александър" (Alexander) and "Евгений" (Evgeni), taken from platform profiles. Nobody can find, check or call that. ## What the assistants got wrong - ### Prices in leva - 7 answers still gave plumbing prices in leva. - ### An Indian directory, for Sofia - Justdial, an Indian business directory, was cited 6 times for plumbers in Sofia. ## What plumbers in Sofia can do **0** of 6 checked on your site 1. ### Make your Google Business Profile complete and exact ChatGPT reads your rating, reviews, hours and address straight from Google Maps. Fill in every field, choose the right categories and keep your hours current. 2. ### Build a full profile on MaistorPlus and Rabotilo Perplexity sent people there in half its answers. Use your full name and company, not just a first name. 3. ### Say "round the clock" only if you are The emergency question favoured whoever said round the clock. Make sure your hours everywhere match. 4. ### Use one name, one phone and one address everywhere In Bulgarian and in Latin letters, identical on your site, Google, Facebook and every directory. Every new spelling splits you in two. 5. ### Publish your prices in euro, in plain words Price questions were answered from pages that state prices as text. Old prices in leva are still being repeated. 6. ### Ask the assistants about yourself every month The four questions on this page are a good start. Fix any wrong fact where it comes from. ## Questions ### Which plumber in Sofia does AI recommend? None was named by all three assistants. ChatGPT named Спешни ВиК услуги (Emergency Plumbing Services) most often; Perplexity often pointed people to MaistorPlus and Rabotilo instead. ### How can plumbers in Sofia get recommended by ChatGPT? ChatGPT leans on Google Maps, so start with a complete and exact Google Business Profile. Then use one name everywhere, be on the lists the assistants read for your sector, and say plainly on your own site what you do and what it costs, in euro. ### How did you test this? We asked ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity the four questions on this page, three times each, on 30 October 2026, and searched the same questions on Google from Sofia.
