(website building Burgas) **1,900 searches a month** in Bulgaria. Google and the AI assistants answer it by reading business websites.

SEO and AI search · €400 a month

# SEO that shows you the same numbers we see.

We buy the real Bulgarian search data instead of guessing at it. It decides which pages get written and which words go in them. Every month you get the Google Search Console figures: which positions moved, which did not, and what we are doing about it. SEO and AI search costs €400 a month on its own, €300 a month if we built your website, and it's included in every Marketing plan. Rolling monthly, no minimum term.

AI local results often show only one or two businesses (Joy Hawkins, 26 June 2026). AI agents found prices on the seller's own site 79% of the time and missed prices that only loaded with JavaScript (Kevin Indig and Siteline, 13 July 2026). Google's AI Mode alone had a billion monthly users by May 2026.

## What people ask about SEO

###

What is SEO in 2026, and is it still worth doing?

SEO is making a website answer the questions people actually type, so Google shows it and AI assistants quote it. More than 40% of US Google searches now show an AI Overview, according to [Similarweb's 2026 Generative AI Landscape report](https://www.similarweb.com/corp/reports/2026-generative-ai-landscape/) (July 2026), so the job has doubled: rank in the results, and be worth citing above them.

It is still worth doing, with one honest caveat. It is slow.

###

What changed in search in 2026

At Google I/O on 19 May 2026, Google announced the biggest upgrade to its search box in more than 25 years, rebuilt around AI, and said AI Mode had passed one billion monthly users a year after it launched ([Google, 19 May 2026](https://blog.google/products-and-platforms/products/search/search-io-2026/)).

Two findings matter more than the rest. When an AI Overview sits above the results, the top-ranking page has a 58% lower click-through rate on average ([Ahrefs](https://ahrefs.com/blog/ai-overviews-reduce-clicks-update/), 300,000 keywords, December 2025 data, updated 27 August 2026). But brands cited inside the AI Overview earned 35% more organic clicks than brands that weren't ([Seer Interactive](https://searchengineland.com/google-ai-overviews-drive-drop-organic-paid-ctr-464212), 3,119 queries across 42 organisations, June 2024 to September 2025).

Read those together and the strategy changes. The game is not outranking the AI answer. It is being inside it.

One more thing worth knowing: the pages cited in AI Mode and the pages cited in AI Overviews barely overlap. Ahrefs found the two cited the same URLs only 13.7% of the time ([Ahrefs](https://ahrefs.com/blog/ai-overviews-vs-ai-mode), 540,000 query pairs, 15 December 2025). Two different windows, and they are not won the same way.

###

How much does SEO and AI search cost?

SEO and AI search from Wonder Works costs €400 a month on its own, or €300 a month if we built your website, and it's included in every Marketing plan. It runs month to month with no minimum term. The first month carries extra weight: it includes a one-off fix of everything our opening audit of your site finds, so the ongoing work starts from a clean base instead of sitting on top of old problems.

For that you get the same work we run on our own site. The keyword and AI-search research is paid data, not guesswork: we buy the real Bulgarian search volumes rather than estimating them, and the research decides what gets built. You see the Search Console numbers every month, the same screen we see.

If we build your website, the [€500 build](https://wonderworksdesign.net/services/web-design) includes the setup that gets you found on Google and read by AI assistants, and the monthly work after it is €300 a month on its own, or part of [Marketing, €1,500 a month at most](https://wonderworksdesign.net/services).

###

What do you actually do each month?

We look at the Search Console data first: what people typed, where the site appeared, what got clicked and what got skipped. The work comes out of that, not out of a package list.

Then we fix what the data points at. Sometimes that is rewriting a page title because the current one earns impressions and no clicks. Sometimes it is a new page, because people are asking a question the site never answers. Sometimes it is structure: the wording, headings and direct answers that make a page quotable by ChatGPT and by Google's AI at the same time.

###

Do you guarantee first place in Google?

No. Google itself says "no one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google" ([Google Search Central](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/fundamentals/do-i-need-seo)), and it [doesn't accept payment](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/fundamentals/how-search-works) to rank anyone higher.

What we commit to instead is showing you the real numbers every month, from Google's own reporting, and correcting course from them. That is the whole method.

###

Has it worked for anyone?

[The Brasserie at Darleys](https://wonderworksdesign.net/portfolio/darleys-brasserie) in Derby saw website visitors grow 316 per cent to 32,400 between 1 February and 23 July 2026. That was brand, social and site work together, not SEO alone, and we would rather label it exactly than let you assume otherwise.

For [Biovaya](https://wonderworksdesign.net/portfolio/biovaya) we rebuilt 24 pages and rewrote 18 articles in ten days, set up Google Shopping and let the AI assistants in.

###

Who does the work?

We do. Two people, no juniors. The person reading your Search Console is the person who wrote the page it reports on.

## Seven things you can check today, without us

None of this needs a paid tool, or us. About half an hour in total. If you find four of the seven on your own site, that is normal, and it is exactly why they are worth looking at.

**0** of 7 checked on your site

1. ### Does Google even know your pages exist?

**Check:** search site:yourdomain.com in Google for a quick rough count, then open the Pages report in Google Search Console for the real one.

**What you want:** every page you want found listed as indexed in that report. The site: count is only an estimate, and Google itself says it is not complete ([Google Search Central, site: search operator](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/monitor-debug/search-operators/all-search-site)), so treat it as a warning light. Twenty pages and three results is worth a proper look.

**Fix:** register in Search Console, submit your sitemap.xml, and check robots.txt is not blocking something by accident. The Pages report tells you why each missing page was left out.

2. ### Does your page title say what you sell?

**Check:** search for yourself and read the blue line. That is the title a stranger sees.

**What you want:** the words a customer would type, near the front, under 60 characters. "Home" and "Welcome" are not titles.

**Fix:** put the service and the city in it. In Bulgaria the gap is enormous. "Изработка на сайт" gets 1,600 searches a month; "уеб дизайн" gets 320 (Google Ads data via DataForSEO, average month from September 2025 to August 2026, checked 30 September 2026). Same service, five times the people.

3. ### Is your Google profile claimed?

**Check:** search your business name. If it says "Own this business?", the profile exists and you are not the one managing it.

**What you want:** control of it. On a profile nobody on your side manages, anyone can suggest changes to your hours, phone and address, and there is no one to check them.

**Fix:** click "Own this business?" or go to business.google.com. Claiming is free, and if someone else already manages the profile, Google lets you request ownership from them ([Google Business Profile Help](https://support.google.com/business/answer/4566671)). When we checked the 50 most-reviewed restaurants in Blagoevgrad on 20 August 2026, 17 of them still showed "Own this business?".

4. ### Is your menu or price list a PDF?

**Check:** open your site on a phone and tap the menu.

**What you want:** not a download. PDFs open slowly and zoom badly on a phone, and the same words written on an ordinary page are easier for Google and AI assistants to read and quote.

**Fix:** put the same content on a page as normal text. An hour of work, and it starts appearing in search.

5. ### How fast is your site really?

**Check:** run your address through Google's PageSpeed Insights, free. Look at the mobile results first, and read the top section, which comes from real visitors, before the score underneath it.

**What you want:** LCP under 2.5 seconds, INP under 200 milliseconds and CLS under 0.1 for real visitors ([web.dev, Web Vitals](https://web.dev/articles/vitals)). That top section is what Google uses ([Google Search Central, Core Web Vitals](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/core-web-vitals)). The score out of 100 is a test on a simulated phone, useful for finding the problem, and a new or quiet site may not have enough visitors for the top section yet, in which case the test is all you have. Google also indexes the mobile version of your site, so a page that works on a computer and breaks on a phone loses out ([Google Search Central, mobile-first indexing](https://developers.google.com/search/docs/crawling-indexing/mobile/mobile-sites-mobile-first-indexing)).

**Fix:** start with whatever the report names as the cause of a slow LCP. On the small business sites we check, it is most often an oversized photo at the top of the page.

6. ### Do the pages you want ranked get internal links?

**Check:** open your homepage and look for a real link to the service page you most want to sell.

**What you want:** links pointing at it. A page nothing points at looks unimportant to Google, however well it is written.

**Fix:** link to it from the homepage and from your most-read articles, and make the link text the service itself, not "read more".

7. ### Does your site answer in a way that can be quoted?

**Check:** ask ChatGPT something your customer would ask, and see who gets cited.

**What you want:** sentences that stand alone. "It cut the time by nearly half" means nothing out of context. "Our websites cost €500, with the domain and the first year's hosting in your name" can be lifted whole.

**Fix:** write specifically. A name, a number, a date or a price in every sentence you want quoted.

If after those seven you decide you are fine on your own, we have done our job here. If you would rather somebody watched them for you every month, that is the service below.

### How much does SEO and AI search cost with Wonder Works?

SEO and AI search from Wonder Works costs €400 a month on its own, or €300 a month if we built your website, and it's included in every Marketing plan at €1,500 a month at most. It runs month to month with no minimum term. The first month includes a one-off fix of everything our opening audit of your site finds, and every month you see the same Search Console numbers we see.

### Does the €300 plan include looking after my website?

Yes, if Wonder Works built your website. After the first year, support and small changes to your site carry on inside the €300 a month SEO and AI search plan, so there is no separate maintenance fee. If we didn't build your site, the €400 plan covers the SEO fixes on it, but not looking after the platform itself, such as WordPress updates, plugins and security.

### What does Wonder Works actually do each month for SEO?

Each month Wonder Works starts from your Search Console data: what people typed, where your site appeared, what got clicked and what got skipped. Then we fix what the data points at, whether that is rewriting a page title that earns impressions and no clicks, adding a page for a question the site never answers, or restructuring a page so ChatGPT and Google's AI can quote it.

### Do you guarantee first place in Google?

No. Google's own guidance says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google, and Google doesn't accept payment to rank anyone higher. What Wonder Works commits to instead is showing you the real numbers every month, from Google's own reporting, and correcting course from them.

### Has Wonder Works' SEO worked for anyone?

### Do you do SEO for businesses in Blagoevgrad?

Yes. Wonder Works is based in Blagoevgrad, at ul. Saedinenie 5, and we meet local owners in person. What local SEO means for a Blagoevgrad business, and what we found when we searched the town like a customer, is on [SEO in Blagoevgrad](https://wonderworksdesign.net/services/seo/blagoevgrad).

### Who does the SEO work at Wonder Works?

Colin and Neli Rooney do the work themselves. Two people, no juniors. The person reading your Search Console is the person who wrote the page it reports on.
