Real reels from the bakery's feed. Filmed on a phone, planned by us.
The stat that matters
Why do we lead with views-per-follower, not follower count?
Because 2026 social media doesn't work the way people think it does. At the 927,000-view mark the page had 3,372 followers: 275 views per follower, content travelling roughly 100× beyond its own audience. Feed algorithms no longer distribute your content to your followers; they distribute it to whoever the content deserves. A brand-new page with the right content now outperforms a ten-year-old page with lazy content. Followers are a scoreboard. Shareable quality is the game. This account proved it from a standing start, twice, one reel at 230K views, another at 206K, from a page a few months old. The million came the same way.
The scope
What did we actually build?
Everything, from nothing, inside one partnership. Brand identity and naming for a bakery whose whole idea is that time slows down, „като едно време", like the old days. The visual world: nostalgic, warm, hand-made. The social accounts from zero on Facebook and Instagram. The website. A content engine built on real bread, real hands and Bulgarian nostalgia, 100-year-old sourdough starter, баба's kitchen, herbs from a wild farm. Then the launch: a coming-soon tease, the opening, and the delivery moment.
The brand system
What does a bakery brand look like when it's done properly?
Logo, poster, signage, labels, photography. All of it ours, all of it consistent, from the shopfront to the sticker on a warm loaf.

The three things
What actually worked?
Three things, and none of them were "posting more":
Nostalgia as strategy, not decoration
The content answers an emotional question, where did that taste go?, and Sofia answered back. The top posts are all memory-led, not product-led.
A person, not a logo
Faces travel; logos don't. The client preferred to stay behind the counter, so our own creative lead fronted the content, yes, that's Neli in the reels. If you won't be on camera, we build around it. Sometimes we are the workaround.
Moments engineered to be news
The Glovo delivery launch became the single biggest post at 230K views, because "you can now get this bread delivered" is a story a neighbourhood sends to each other.
The part we're proudest of
Who makes all of this content?
We do. All of it. In five and a half months the client hasn't sent us a single photo, video or idea, and we've never needed them to. Neli finds the stories: she went looking for real Bulgarian grandmothers, found them in a village outside the city, arranged a traditional wheat harvest with them, and filmed it in the field. That post did 123,000 views in its first 24 hours, and it's the one that pushed this account past a million organic views.
We say this carefully, because it isn't a promise we can make to everyone: this level of content creation, finding the people, the places and the stories, then filming and producing every piece of it, is the deepest version of a partnership, and we can only carry a few of those at a time. But it tells you how we work everywhere: if the story your brand needs doesn't exist yet, we don't wait for you to send one. We go and find it.
The right people
The audience was right, not just big
The stat that matters more than any view count: 79.7% of the audience is in Bulgaria, 40.6% in Sofia itself, with women 35-54 as the core, the exact buying demographic of an artisan neighbourhood bakery. Reach means nothing if it's the wrong people. This was the right people.
The other side
And the B2B side?
Reach doesn't pay rent, revenue streams do. Alongside the consumer launch we ran structured outreach to corporate offices, wholesalers and hotels, opening B2B revenue channels beyond the counter, and supported the Glovo marketplace launch. Early results are positive and growing; we'll publish numbers when they're worth your time. That's a rule of ours: no dressed-up stats.
The honest bit
What we'd do differently
The data taught us something worth admitting: Facebook out-delivered Instagram roughly 7:1 for this audience, women 35-54, Bulgaria. We split effort more evenly than the audience deserved in the first months. Today the same client would get a Facebook-first plan from day one, and that lesson is baked into every launch we run now. You're reading this because no agency admits anything, and that's exactly why you should ask every agency you talk to: "what did you get wrong last time?"
This is what the Marketing Partnership and our approach to social media produce when they start from zero.
Straight answers
The things people ask us first.
How long did it take to see results from zero?
The first viral post came within the launch phase, under three months from account creation. Meaningful, compounding reach arrived by month four.
Was this paid growth?
90% of all views were organic: 1,024,923 of 1,133,293. Ads were used surgically (about 108 thousand views across five and a half months) to support launch moments, not to carry the account.
Does this work for businesses that aren't bakeries?
The mechanics, emotional answer, real faces on camera, moments engineered to be shared, are the same ones we run for every consumer brand. The nostalgia angle was this client's story; yours has its own.
What was the engagement beyond views?
Over 24,000 interactions across Facebook and Instagram, 98 days of watch time, and 425,398 unique viewers on Facebook alone.
What exactly did the client buy?
The full Marketing Partnership, one monthly fee covering brand, socials, website, content, design and the B2B outreach. This case study is what that partnership produces.
